On-Site Facilities and Services
Doane Rest offers a wide variety of on-site facilities to make your stay with us more pleasant and enjoyable. Take a peek at some of them here:
Meeting/Recreation Hall
Perfect for retreats or conferences, our Meeting Hall can comfortably seat up to 70 people. Equipped with projection screen and white board it also serves as an excellent place to conduct training seminars and classes. On chilly evenings, youth retreats sing and share testimonies while enjoying the warmth of the great fireplace. This facility is regularly open for use by all our guests, but if you need to use it for a special event, we can do that for you if you reserve it in advance.
Table Tennis
Practice your skills behind the paddle or challenge other guests to a friendly tournament.
Library
Doane Rest has a collection of hundreds of books for those of you who want to curl up by the fireplace and read. Fiction, non-fiction, biography, Christian, condensed, action/suspense, westerns…we’ve probably got something for everyone.
Self-Serve Laundry
Doane Rest provides all of your linens, towels and bedding during your stay, and we’ll launder them for you after your departure. However, if you plan to come for several days or an extended holiday, we do provide self-serve laundry facilities so you can minimize your vacation luggage.

Picnic/Grill Area
If your mouth is watering for fire-grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, or you miss barbecuing steak or chicken, we’ve got just the spot! Enjoy our beautiful, park setting picnic area.

Your children will love all of the outdoor activities-swings, teeter-totters, slide, basketball, soccer, volleyball, sandbox-there’s something for everyone!
